Tier 3 Set Overview Classic WoW
Tier 3 is a type of armor set derived from version 60 of the Naxxramas version.
Each set consisted of 9 pieces that made them the largest sets in the game. Also, this set is the only Tier that includes a ring. Tier 7, which drops from level 80 of the Naxxramas version, uses the same artwork with different color palettes.
At Mists of Pandaria, the chance to see pieces from these collections, produced by NPCs at the Black Market Auction House, is likely for a suggested bid price of 10,000.
Thus, characters from a race or class that did not exist in the main game have a chance to collect these pieces for the Transform, such as the Alliance shaman, the Horde paladins, the druids troll in Cataclysm, and the gnome hunters in the Legion.
The items that make up these collections are quest reward. Among other things, quests require the boss in Naxxramas.
The only exceptions are rings that are dropped directly from Kel’Thuzad in Naxxramas.
