Before you want to start raising the skill of your fishing job, you should also think about raising the cooking job because cooking and fishing go hand in hand.
The fish you drop or catch have a direct path to your cooking career , so it’s worth upgrading each pair together.
Fishing can be called one of the easiest professions and jobs in the world of warcraft game, the only thing you have to do is to repeat the same thing, you throw your hook, wait for fish, catch fish and repeat the same thing again. What you do in this process is that you reduce the time of your movement around and only fish.

Before we start the training, pay attention to the following:
- To get this job, your character level must be at least 10 (it is better if you are 80, because you will need more levels for higher skills later)
- You need between 50-75 gold (to buy hooks and baits)
- Basic Fishing Pole (you can buy this item from any fishing supplies or most trade goods sellers)
In the first step, you have to make this job a trainer or take the job first, for this you can get this job from a special trainer from Orgrimmar or Stormwind .

Then go outside the city and start hooking in the lake or the sea and wherever there is water, after a few moments the tip of the hook that is in the water will start to move and this is when you very quickly move the mouse on that part which is the tip. You take a hook that turns like a gear and click to catch the fish.
Note: As we specified in the pictures below, cut a part of the sea or river that is circular and bubble-like, because in these places you catch the most and best fish by hooking.
Note: My suggestion for you at this stage is the Ratchet area , which I personally fish in this place for the first stage, but sometimes I also go to the Stranglethorn Vale area, where you can do a job as a trainer and also fish in this area. .

After this stage, you will go to the Outland continent , where you can become a trainer and then start fishing in this continent.

And in the last step, you can go to Dalaran and become a trainer and fish in the Northrend continent or go to the Howling Fjord area and when you reach this area, go to a trainer and learn the higher levels of fishing from him.

Right next to the fishing trainers, there is an area of water that you can use to level up your fishing and you have to click on your hook, wait for the fish to bite your hook, and then click on the bubble to catch the fish.

- Journeyman Riding : level 75
- Expert Riding : level 150
- Artisan Riding : level 225
- Master : level 300
- Grand Master Fisherman : level 375
Note: In 1x servers, you have to spend approximately 8-12 hours of fishing to get from 1 to 450.
This is the fastest possible way to level up your fishing, don’t worry about what you catch, when you are leveling up all you have to do is drop the hook and wait for the fish which will increase your job skill, even If you don’t catch the fish.
